What a fantastic evening for Scarletts Netball Club as Scarletts were crowned 2026 Worcester City Netball League Stewart Vernalls Tournament Champions!

Held in June, the annual tournament is not only a highlight of the local netball calendar but also raises vital funds for the Worcestershire Breast Haven Charity, making it an event that combines great netball with an even greater cause.
Scarletts NC were represented by an incredible four teams, creating a brilliant club atmosphere throughout the evening. From the first whistle to the final match, the courts were full of positive energy, encouragement and plenty of laughter, with teammates supporting each other every step of the way.
Adding to the fun, Scarletts also enjoyed an interclub match against our Steelers, giving everyone another opportunity to get on court, play with a smile and celebrate everything that makes grassroots netball so special.
On the court, our tournament-winning side produced an outstanding performance, remaining undefeated all evening. The team battled their way through opponents from the Premier Division, Division 1 and Division 2, demonstrating skill, determination and excellent teamwork throughout the competition.
The evening culminated in a fantastic final against WNC Sapphires, where Scarletts held their nerve to secure the title and lift the Stewart Vernalls Trophy.
A huge congratulations to every player who represented Scarletts. Whether competing, supporting from the sidelines or helping to create such a positive club atmosphere, everyone played their part in making it a memorable evening.
